About Us
 
Tucked away in the quaint little village of Barcombe is the charming Royal Oak public house and restaurant, dating from the early 16th Century. Your hosts Mike and Caroline Austen have been here for over 25 years and have firmly established the Royal Oak Pub as the favourite drinking spot amongst the local community. Also providing traditional English cuisine, all freshly prepared and cooked to your requirements. To round off your meal to perfection there is a delicious selection of wicked desserts. Food served every day except Sunday night and all day Monday. 
Congenial and family-friendly, The Royal Oak Pub is a welcoming country pub in the East Sussex village of Barcombe. The front is neatly presented, with hanging baskets adorning every corner, a table or two for making the most of any fine weather, with further tables in the well maintained beer garden and children's play area to the rear of the pub.  Hearty British classics fill the menu, accompanied by international favourites, buffet menus and portions for children.
